Nurses at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester, Tenet Healthcare fail to reach agreement with strike looming on March 8

For the second time since nurses at Saint Vincent Healthcare announced their intent to strike on March 8, the two parties met and failed to reach an agreement, the Massachusetts Nurses Association announced on Wednesday.
Nurses met with Tenet Healthcare, the parent company of Saint Vincent Hospital, on Wednesday to discuss increasing staff numbers. For the second time this week, the two parties left the meeting without an agreement.
The nurses union didn’t specify if another meeting was scheduled but said in a statement that they are open to continuing negotiations to reach a resolution.
