Here's what we saw inside the numbers that makes us confident that donald trump did a little bit better after that sunday night performance. republicans came home. on the earlier days of the polling 67% of republicans said they wanted down ballot candidates to still embrace him. that's a big number. 2/3 of republicans were still saying they wanted their local house or senate candidates not to disavow trump. on the monday polling alone that number went up to 83%. we saw a lot more republicans coalescing and trump as their nominee even as his national top line number was going down. republicans ...
