HS Wrestling: Weekend Recap – Mix 94.7 KMCH
Four area teams competed in wrestling tournaments this past weekend and here is a look at how they did. In Calmar: West Delaware crowned six champions and defeated second ranked Osage for the team title at the South Winneshiek Invitational. 52 of the top ranked Hawks’ 275 points came from bonus points as they beat the Green Devils by 77 points, as they had nine wrestlers reach the finals and got individual titles from Blake Engel, Jadyn Peyton, Kyle Cole, Wyatt Voelker, Christian Nunley, and Carson Petlon.
