The Outlaws are ready to begin their inaugural campaign in the Mid-American League.

The Jefferson City Renegades only trailed entering two half innings, and they didn’t last long. The Renegades got ahead early, then came back late for a walk-off 7-6 win against the Joplin Outlaws during MINK League action Sunday night at Vivion Field.

Braden McGinnis contributed enough runs to beat the Renegades on his own. McGinnis hit an RBI double in the third, then a three-run home run in the fourth to help lead the Sedalia Bombers to a 6-3 win against the Jefferson City Renegades to open the Renegades’ season Thursday at Vivion Field.

There will be a lot of new and some familiar faces tonight when the Jefferson City Renegades take the field at Vivion Field for their season opener at 7 p.m. against the Sedalia Bombers. One of the most familiar faces will be Carter Mize, who will return to the team for his third season after he started by finishing the final few weeks of the 2019 summer with the Renegades. The Missouri Baptist senior couldn’t turn down the opportunity for one last ride in the MINK League.
