The freezing weather has led to some pretty bizarre sights in Essex this week.  But the sight of someone skiing down snowy slopes was not something we thought we might see.  That was until quick-thinking Catherine Cuthbert grabbed a video of a skier making the most of the snow in Southend.  The town has seen several centrimetres of the white stuff settle on the ground since Sunday.  And the competent skier took advantage of their exercise allowance during lockdown by getting out and honing their skills in Clifftown Gardens.  They weren't the only one in south Essex spotted us...
