St.-Martin's born director Cayman Grant wanted to work with Elspeth Arbow, who’s lived through two double-lung transplant surgeries before she was 25 because of cystic fibrosis.
New Brunswick's Cayman Grant jumped at the chance to direct an episode of ABC TV's The Good Doctor because breaking into network TV as a female director isn't easy.

Saint John-based musician Apryll Aileen is releasing new single, “Home,” on Friday April 23, followed by a livestreamed concert presented by Paris Crew.
Aileen grew up in St. Martins and music had always been an integral part of her life, from her uncle and father playing guitar and harmonica around the kitchen table to her mother and grandmother playing the piano.
“Piano has been in my life since I was five and I’ve always written, whether it was journaling or poetry just a sort of self-therapy in a way, as a young person,” says Aileen. “I remember I was at Rothesay High and I had the deepest fear ever of singing, so I never sang before that and I remember my teacher getting me to audition.”
