CBSE News | Provide question bank to students for CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exams 2021: Parliamentary Panel

Pointing out learning gap, a parliamentary panel has suggested for a question bank for CBSE Class 10, 12 students for 2021 board examinations. Questions, the panel suggests, should be asked from the same.

A parliamentary panel on Tuesday suggested to the Education Ministry that a "big question bank" should be given to students of classes 10 and 12 in advance, out of which selected ones will come in the board exams, in a move aimed at mitigating their learning gap in wake of COVID-19, sources said.
Briefing the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Education on the impact of COVID-19 on school education, government officials suggested that there could be a substantial "learning gap" in this academic year due to the pandemic and there have been reports that a sizeable number of students missed virtual classes due to Internet connectivity, sources in the panel told PTI.

केंद्रीय माध्यमिक शिक्षा बोर्ड (सीबीएसई) ने साल 2021 में होने वाली बोर्ड परीक्षाओं की तारीखों का एलान कर दिया है। इसके अनुसार 10वीं और 12वीं की बोर्ड परीक्षाएं चार मई से शुरू होंगी और 10 जून को समाप्त होंगी। एक मार्च से प्रैक्टिकल (प्रयोगात्मक) परीक्षाएं होंगी। सीबीएसई ने बताया कि इन परीक्षाओं के परिणाम 15 जुलाई कर घोषित कर दिए जाएंगे।
बता दें कि सीबीएसई बोर्ड के 10वीं और 12वीं कक्षा के विद्यार्थियों को बोर्ड परीक्षाओं की तारीखों का बेसब्री से इंतजार था। सीबीएसई बोर्ड ने इस महीने की शुरुआत में ही कह दिया था कि परीक्षाएं लिखित माध्यम से ही होंगी न कि ऑनलाइन माध्यम से। बता दें कि परीक्षा तिथि के एलान में विलंब के चलते कई स्कूल विद्यार्थियों की तैयारी के लिए ऑनलाइन माध्यम से प्री-बोर्ड परीक्षाएं करवाने लगे थे।

बता दें कि सीबीएसई बोर्ड में आम तौर पर प्रैक्टिकल परीक्षाओं की शुरुआत जनवरी में हो जाती है और लिखित परीक्षाएं फरवरी के आस-पास होती हैं। लेकिन इस साल कोरोना की वजह से पैदा हुई स्थिति के चलते पहली बार ऐसा हो रहा है कि बोर्ड परीक्षाएं मई में आयोजित कराई जा रही हैं और प्रैक्टिकल परीक्षाएं मार्च में हो रही हैं।
कोविड-19 के चलते मार्च से बंद हैं देशभर के स्कूल
उल्लेखनीय है कि कोरोना वायरस महामारी के चलते लगाए गए लॉकडाउन के बाद देशभर के सभी स्कूल मार्च में बंद कर दिए थे। अक्तूबर में कुछ राज्यों ने आंशिक तौर पर स्कूलों को दोबारा खोलने की शुरुआत की थी। हालांकि, कुछ राज्यों ने संक्रमण के बढ़ते मामलों को देखते हुए अपने यहां अभी तक स्कूलों को बंद ही रखा है।
