Illini Garner Two All American Team Selections
By Mike Wennmacher Photo Credit: Fighting Illini / Official Website The Associated Press All American Team was announced today and the Fighting Illini have two players making the squad and for the first time ever for the Illini one of those players is a first team All American. Junior Guard Ayo Dosunmu is that first team AP All American. Dosunmu has averaged 20.7 pts, 6.3 rebs, and 5.3 assists so far this season. Joining Ayo on the All American team albeit on the 2 nd team is Center Kofi Cockburn. The Sophomore Center has come into his own this season averaging 17.6 pts and 9.6 rebs. ...
