Bulldogs claim state swim championship Friday, Feb. 26, 2021 Intermountain Catholic SALT LAKE CITY Judge Memorial Catholic High School swimmers have had a blowout year, culminating in a 3A state victory for the boys team. At the state championship meet, Feb. 12 and 13 at South Davis Recreation Center, the boys team finished 57 points ahead of Union, a team that beat them by one point last year. The girls team finished in second place. “It was an amazing season,” Coach Sage Maararen said. “I expected a lot from them, and they just blew me away with the way that they rallied during this pandemic. It almost made them more grateful and more appreciative for swimming, to realize that it is such a privilege that they get to do this.” ....
