Earl C. Tressler Earl C. Tressler, 91, of Beech Creek, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 2, 2021 at UPMC Lock Haven. He was born in Tylersville on Nov. 30, 1929 a son of the late Oscar F. and Fairy Greninger Tressler. Earl was employed at Champion Parts where he retired in 1994 after 34 years of service. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Bald Eagle Beagle Club. He enjoyed hunting, especially with his beloved Beagles, and fishing. He was a life member of the Beech Creek American Legion. He is survived by his companion and love of his life of 38 years, Dorothy Rickert at their home in Beech Creek; two sons, Ronald (Ginger) Tressler of Lamar, and Barry (Tammy) Tressler of Draketown; four grandchildren, Ronald Jr., Colby, Lindsay, and Leslie, and five great- grandchildren. ....
Ronald Lee Rupert, 80, of Dunnstown passed away Monday, Dec. 21, 2020 at UPMC Susquehanna, Williamsport. Born July 3, 1940 in Beech Creek Twp., he was a son of the late Joshua and Edna (Lyons) Rupert. Ron was a 1959 graduate of Bald Eagle Nittany High School. Ron served in the National Guard from 1956 until 1959. On May 12, 1952, he married his love, the former Lois E. Shoemaker, with who he shared 58 years of marriage. Ron was employed for many years at Champion Parts and then at Smith Furniture until his retirement. He was a lifetime member of Dunnstown Fire Company as well as a member of the Clinton County Volunteer Firemen’s Association and Central District Volunteer Firemen’s Association. ....
