WWE star Lars Sullivan has officially been released from his WWE contract. This comes following an absence from TV due to a knee injury, as well as a number of incidents that got him in hot water with management.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Lars was released in January but the information hadn t come to light until now, as no formal announcement was made by WWE.

On the most recent edition of his podcast, Jim Ross spoke about the match order at WrestleMania 19 causing issues with The Rock and Steve Austin back in the day.
J.R. revealed both were not happy about being bumped down from closing the event.
Here is what Ross had to say on the Grilling JR podcast:
“They (Kurt Angle and Brock Lesnar) closed WrestleMania XIX. That wasn’t the plan. They closed the show because Austin, the night before, spent the night in the hospital. Even though he demanded that he was ok to work and the doctors cleared him, we were worried that he and Rock, the third match between the two, might not be what they were looking for based on Steve’s condition. We switched that around. That did not make The Rock or Austin happy. There’s something about closing the show.” ....

AEW wrestler Chris Jericho has said he never recovered after being given just seven minutes for his ECW One Night Stand 2005 match against Lance Storm.
When a fan on Twitter encouraged others to watch the Jericho-Storm match, saying the pair absolutely killed it, the former AEW World Champion admitted he’s never watched it, saying he was insulted at the amount of time the WWE gave them.
