Apr 27, 2021 A Bath man has pleaded guilty to federal child pornography charges. 35-year-old Charles Augrom the Third admitted to sharing illicit images and videos of children younger than 12. Augrom has already been convicted twice on state child porn charges. He faces 10 to 20 years in prison when he's sentenced in July.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Kyle P. Rossi, who is handling the case, said in July 2020, an undercover law enforcement officer downloaded numerous pictures and videos of child pornography that traced back to an IP address belonging to Augrom. Some of the images and videos included children younger than 12 years old engaged in sexual conduct with adults, as well as depictions of violence, prosecutors said.
