(WMBF) - This week, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs published its COVID-19 vaccine distribution plan, which is meant to address the vaccination of frontline VA healthcare workers and veterans residing in long-term care units. FORGING AHEAD | These plans are being executed in 37 of its medical centers across the country. Officials with the Department of Veterans Affairs said they began vaccinating veterans and frontline employees within these medical centers this week with the Pfizer vaccine. None of South Carolina’s medical centers are included on this list.
