CITY OF MALOLOS, Bulacan - Some PHP2.5 million worth of illegal drugs were seized during weeklong simultaneous anti-criminality law force operations (SACLEO) in this province from Aug. 22-28. In a report on Monday, Col. Charlie A. Cabradilla, provincial director of Bulacan Philippine National Police (PNP), said the anti-drug operations conducted by different Station Drug Enforcement Units (SDEU) of Bulacan police also resulted in the arrest of 115 drug suspects. Cabradilla said confiscated were 36 sachets of shabu, 19 sachets of dried marijuana leaves with a Dangerous Drug Board-estimated value of PHP2,502,263, assorted drug paraphernalia, and buy-bust money. He also said that two felons were arrested during the implementation of the search warrant operations while 50 persons with various offenses were caught by the tracker teams. Likewise, he said 48 illegal gamblers were caught in anti-illegal gambling operations. Meanwhile, Cabradilla said 13 undocumented firearms were confiscated and 44 firearms were surrendered through Oplan Katok. "This accomplishment is a manifestation of the Bulacan police's unyielding efforts and relentless campaign against wanted persons, illegal drugs, loose firearms, illegal gambling, and all other lawless activities," he said.
