A teenage singer who twice auditioned for Britain s Got Talent killed herself after being bullied by so-called friends and groomed by an older man, an inquest heard.
Talented musician and actress Beatrix Hart, known as Trixie, seemed destined for stardom before she ended her life by hanging herself at home.
Cornwall Coroner s Court heard the 16-year-old had a long history of mental illness which deteriorated when she felt let down by the police for not pursuing a sexual assault allegation against a 44-year-old friend of her father.
She had also claimed she had been raped by a boy from college days before she died and her family say she was the victim of vicious online abuse which left her in tears. ....

A talented teenage musician died after disclosing claims of sexual abuse and exploitation by older men. Beatrix Hart, 16, who liked to be known as Trixie, died not long after she returned to Cornwall after seemingly repairing a strained relationship with her mother, an inquest heard.
Trixie, who twice auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent, fought a long-running battle with crippling depression, anxiety and an eating disorder relating to body image which all resulted in her being admitted to hospital on numerous occasions. ....
