ENTERPRISE — Wallowa Memorial Hospital has again been named a top 100 critical access hospital.

Enrollment in Medicare Advantage plans increased by 5.5% this year, or by 1.5 million beneficiaries, according to The Chartis Group. But in 2020, 2021 and 2022, enrollment rose by 1.9 million, 2.2 million and 2.3 million, respectively.

Working with its DES Health Consulting team, the advisory firm aims to help health system clients tackle clinician burnout and manage the demands on the workforce, improving quality and safety, job retention and provider experience.

Medicare Advantage enrollment grew 5.5% for the current plan year, a decline from a record 9% for 2022, according to the Chartis Group.

The Mississippi Rural Health Association recently recognized outstanding individuals and hospitals during the group’s annual conference in Jackson.
