Chris Arcoleo at Chris' Fishing Trips is posting full limits of rockfish for every trip aboard the Check Mate and Caroline, as usual. Depending on the customer load that means up to 230 rockfish, plus as many as nine lingcod for every foray this week.

This week featured lots of wind, which always makes fishing difficult, if not impossible.

Deepwater rockfish areas will close at the end of April, and only nearshore waters inside of the 20 fathom (120 feet) line will be open for rockfish, cabezon and lingcod.
