Alcohol delivery in Athens will roll out in phases through January
Alcohol delivery is now a reality in Athens-Clarke County, as a number of stores are, or soon will be, accepting online orders for beer, wine, liquor, and spirits. According to Trent Walls, founder of Athens-based Cosmic Delivery Service, there is a rollout plan in place that includes 10 area package stores, with restaurants to follow in January or February pending Cosmic's ability to meet additional requirements that apply under the new law.
