Ring Bearer… This year’s Whalefest takes place Saturday-Sunday, April 13-14, and is filled with fun, educational events – the most delicious of which are surely the free calamari cooking demonstrations
A new special event this year is the Saturday, 1 p.m. Fisherman’s Wharf Cioppino Cooking Demo by award-winning Chef Tene Shake of Kokomo’s and Grotto Fish Market. Live entertainment follows the opening ceremonies that take place 11:30 a.m.- Noon.
Look for a cooking demo, and lots of great eats, at the 90th annual festival.
