Chelsey Jay shortlisted for 'Young Councillor of the Year' | Braintree and Witham Times
A TOWN councillor has been shortlisted for the title of Young Councillor of the Year. Witham town councillor Chelsey Jay is nominated in the category in the National Association of Local Councillors’ star councillor awards for 2021. The 30-year-old Independent has been a part of the council since 2019 and said this nomination is a reminder that “it’s so important for young people to be in this space”.
