Fashion brand Dior has been urged to apologize to China for using a photo that shows an Asian model slanting her eye in an advert.
Dior has been criticized on Chinese and overseas social networks over alleged racial discrimination after it published a promotional photo that showed a model pulling the corners of her eyes upward in a manner like she was slanting her eyes.
The image has been removed from Dior's social media without any official comment on the matter. But it had already caused anger amongst members of the Chinese public.
