The Illinois Department of Public Health reported 5,644 new confirmed and probable cases of coronavirus disease in Illinois, including 30 additional deaths. Currently, IDPH is reporting a total of 1,758,146 cases, including 26,190 deaths, in Illinois. As of Wednesday night, 1,340 individuals in Illinois were reported to be in the hospital with COVID-19.
