(WWSB) - We are receiving reports into our newsroom that emergency units are on scene of a major accident on the Sunshine Skyway Bridge near the South Fishing Pier. A three-year-old was reportedly hit by a car near the Pier. According to the Florida Highway Patrol that child has been pronounced dead at the scene. We have a crew on the way to the scene to gather more information.
