RIT and its Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps Detachment 538 were presented the 2021 Department of Defense ROTC and Higher Educational Institution Partnership Excellence Award this morning. The award recognizes the detachment’s success as well as RIT’s contribution to the program.

As a highly decorated pilot and operations leader, Lt. Col. Christopher Denzer brings experience in flight, technology development, and training to RIT’s Air Force ROTC detachment as its new commanding officer, a position he began on July 1.
