ELLSWORTH — The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Boothbay man who was allegedly in possession of numerous illegal drugs on Christmas Eve in Orland, police reported. Deputy Marcus Downes had gotten a report of a drug transaction occurring. When he arrived, the Bucksport Police Department had Jesse Davis, 29, detained, the deputy said. “After further investigation, it was determined that Davis was on bail and also in possession of numerous illegal drugs,” Downes said.
