Just over six months after the establishment of cardiac care services in Enniscorthy Primary Care Centre (EPCC) specialists say 80 per cent of those with chronic disease will soon be able to receive care in their local community. An open day at the EPCC showcased work being carried out in this field, such as the Integrated Community Cardiac Rehabilitation Programme and Lipid Clinic, which are both now available in Wexford community healthcare services.
