KATHMANDU, Feb 23: Minister for Water Supply, Mahindra Raya Yadav, has said that the conservation of the Chure region can be the lasting solution of drinking water problems in Terai-Madhesh.
JANAKPURDHAM, Nov 27: Stakeholders have drawn attention of the officials to put timely plans and strategies for the management of water resources and disaster recovery since the twin tasks remain incomplete without conservation of Chure region.
KATHMANDU, May 29: The government has allocated Rs 1.5 billion for the Chure conservation program.
In the past, the then Chief minister of the Province also requested the government to amend the policy of exporting sand, soil, stone, gravel etc. from the Chure region.
