MANSFIELD â The Storybook Trail at Kingwood Center Gardens will feature a new book for the winter season beginning Jan. 4, 2021. Winter Sleep: A Hibernation Story is by authors Sean Taylor and Alex Morss and illustrated by Cinyee Chiu. This award-winning story follows a child and his grandma through a winter landscape exploring how the Earth goes to sleep for winter. You will spot the sleeping animals as the tale unfolds, then learn about their hibernation habits.
