As the COVID-19 pandemic subsides and restrictions ease, some City Halls in Ventura County have reopened to the public, with others to follow.
The abating of the threat from COVID along with county and state relaxing restrictions has allowed us to reexamine our service delivery methods, Tim Giles, Thousand Oaks human resources director/risk administrator, said in a statement.
Thousand Oaks recently reopened its customer service counters at City Hall for public in-person services. The city continues to offer virtual services.
It plans to soon allow the public to again attend City Council meetings in person.
As we gradually increase our in-person services, the city is keeping everyone safe, Giles said. ....
