From The Tribune staff reports JASPER A Jasper woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash that happened around 4:55 p.m. on Sunday, April 11, 2021. Belinda Sue Clark Justics, 50, was pronounced dead on the scene. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) said the crash happened on Alabama 68 at the 217-mile marker, about 11 miles northeast of Jasper. “The 2019 Jeep Cherokee she was driving left the roadway, struck a guardrail, crossed the centerline of the highway and collided head-on with a 1995 Chevrolet GMT400,” ALEA said in a press release. The first crash happened shortly after midnight on Alabama Highway 269, about 13 miles south of Jasper. While trying to elude Jasper police, the driver of a pickup truck crossed the center line and collided head-on with a car, according to troopers. The truck caught fire. Troopers are working to identify the driver. Medics transported the driver of the car to a local hospital for serious injuries. ....
