Class 10 Exam Result: Plea in Delhi HC seeks modification in tabulation of 10th marks

The ruling Shiv Sena in Maharashtra has appealed to the Centre to take a uniform decision on the board exams of Classes 10 and 12 across the country in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. A unilateral decision by any state would lead to students of that state being at a disadvantage in terms of career and opportunities, Shiv Sena's chief spokesperson Arvind Sawant said in a letter, dated April 10, addressed to Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank'.

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CICSE) has released the ICSE class 10th, ISC class 12th timetable 2021 for the upcoming board exams. The board exams for classes 10 and 12 will be held from May 5 and April 8 respectively.
Usually, the CICSE board exams are conducted in February-March. However, the exams have been delayed this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
"The Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE), which is class 10 exam, will be conducted from May 5 to June 7. The Indian School Certificate Examination (ISC), which is class 12 exam, will be conducted from April 8 to June 16," said Gerry Arathoon, CICSE's Chief Executive and Secretary.
