The high school football postseason doesn’t begin for another few weeks. Don’t tell that to the Blair Oaks Falcons. As far as they are concerned, district play begins tonight. Blair Oaks wraps up the regular season with two Tri-County Conference games, both against district foes. First up is tonight’s game against the Hallsville Indians.
The Blair Oaks Falcons will be taking a rare midseason break from Tri-County Conference play. And for just the third time in the program’s 48 seasons, Blair Oaks will play an out-of-state program. The Falcons welcome the Seaman Vikings, a Class 5A school from Topeka, Kan., tonight to the Falcon Athletic Complex. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.
The Blair Oaks School Board approved changes to building handbooks and updates to stipends Tuesday at its regular board meeting.
