Updated 8/3/2021 7:18 PM Brittain's Car Wash, on Larkin Avenue on the west side of Elgin, is beginning a renovation project that will have the car wash closed Aug. 2-6. Brittain's is putting $80,000 into the car wash improvements that will see new lights, conveyor system, walls, cleaning systems and carpet mat cleaner added to the car wash to enhance everyone's car washing experience. "We cannot wait for our customers to visit with all of these great new upgrades," stated owner Mike Warren.
