Baking soda can work on its own as a cleaner with no need for vinegar. Lynsey recommends sprinkling it on mattresses, shoes and rugs, leaving it overnight, and then hoovering it up to get rid of dirt, dust and bad smells. You can also sprinkle some in stained Tupperware with a dash of water and leave it overnight before rinsing it - this will get rid of the stains.
