MP pledges support for Clent View Road Fields campaign
STOURBRIDGE MP Suzanne Webb has pledged to support the efforts of campaigners fighting to preserve open fields on the border of Norton. The Save Clent View Road Fields action group was set up to campaign against development of agricultural land, opposite Clent View Road, on the South Staffordshire/Dudley borough border. Last Christmas they handed over a petition with more than 2,000 names to the leader of South Staffordshire District Council, Councillor Brian Edwards, to show their opposition to any future development of the green belt land which is being eyed up by leading housebuilder...
