Churches in St. Louis Archdiocese affected by record rainfall, flash floods
Several churches in the Archdiocese of St. Louis were affected by heavy rainfall that came through the St. Louis area early in the morning July 26. Portions of St. Louis, St. Charles, Warren, Lincoln and Montgomery counties received about 8 to 10 inches of rain by 7 a.m., according to the National Weather Service. More rain was forecast for the area, prompting concerns about additional flooding.
