The CIUSS du Centre-Sud-de-L’Ile-de-Montreal shared in a press release that they will start to allow walk-ins starting today at the Palais de Congres. They added that those getting their vaccines today can expect a mystery musician between 9 and 10am to greet people of all ages. However, further details on who the musician will be has yet to be announced.
This initiative is put in place to hopefully lure younger people to get vaccinated now that the age limit has lowered to 25+ as of yesterday, and will change to 18+ as of tomorrow.

Vaccélérateur: Helping Quebecers find last-minute coronavirus vaccination appointments

"I'm very eager to get vaccinated myself. Even if I'm not eligible, yet," Campagna told CTV News. "Sometimes, I go onto Clic Santé and see what are the possibilities and sometimes I see there are appointments very soon, sooner than the general wait time, sometimes up to the same day."
Campagna says the algorithm he created is quite simple. It opens up the Clic Sante website and searches for appointments in each region.
"Initially, I wanted to do it for myself, friends and family," he explained. "It's something that I did as a personal project."
The goal now is to help Quebecers looking to get vaccinated as quickly as possible find a last-minute slot on the highly coveted schedule.

77 per cent of Montrealers over 60 have received COVID vaccine or have an appointment

Vaccination rates are at 59 per cent among Montrealers between 60 and 64, 70 per cent between 65 and 69 and over 81 per cent for those aged 70 and over.
But on Sunday, the mass vaccination site located at the Palais des Congres was quiet. The Clic Sante website indicated appointments were available for that day.
One reason for the quiet vaccination sites is that the province has been routing doses to the province's other regions as part of a bid to help them catch up to Montreal. Health Minister Christian Dube took to Twitter to reiterate the point, saying that 34,000 doses had been redirected to the regions to ensure all Quebecers over the age of 65 are able to get vaccinated by mid-April.
