Cumberland County asks residents, businesses for input on climate change Updated Mar 14, 2021; released Tuesday by the county’s planning department, residents, business owners, and local organizations are invited to provide input on their perceptions of climate change risks and actions they would be willing to take to address climate change, a press release said. 4:25 Burlington, Vermont has sourced 100% of its energy from renewables since 2014.  In 2018, the city implemented a Net Zero Energy Plan to eliminate all fossil fuel use in its heating and ground transportation by 2030.  A program that provides incentives for residents and businesses to switch to such renewable energy technologies has been extended.
