The UK public are being asked to explore how best to deliver major cuts to emissions in an initiative launched in the run up to crucial UN climate talks. A PARK and ride scheme could be trialled as soon as next year. The experimental project for Brighton and Hove could be held in Mill Road, utilising a site that is already used on Brighton and Hove Albion match days. The trial there would be a partnership between Brighton and Hove City Council and Brighton and Hove Buses. The buses would travel non-stop to the centre of Brighton, with stops at St Peter’s Church, North Road and Old Steine before returning to Mill Road.
