Two Large Prescribed Burns Scheduled For Next Week In The Coconino National Forest - KAFF News - Flagstaff

Coconino National Forest fire managers are planning two large prescribed burns starting next week. Ignitions are planned on the Peaks Project either Wednesday or Thursday and will last for three-to-ten days. The burns will take place about 15 miles north of Flagstaff, just northeast of the San Francisco Peaks. The burn is divided into seven separate sections and will burn just over 41-hundred acres total.
