Rates, the governor of the bank of england, has signalled theyre likely to rise in the near future. That could mean as early as november. Mark carney told the bbc, that because of the state of the economy, which is experiencing rising inflation, consumers should expect rates to increase, though he added any hike would be limited and gradual.
