McKinney pastor dies from COVID-19 complications By FOX 4 Staff Fred Thomas' family made the announcement on Facebook Wednesday. He contracted the virus earlier this month and was hospitalized on December 10. Thomas was a comedian at Laugh Out Loud Church. He went viral for expressing his love for Whataburger a few years ago. The family said funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date.
