SAMPLER: City councilor also directs Junior Woman s Club

Kathleen “Katie” Robey, a Marlborough City Councilor and one of the city’s most dedicated public servants, is also serving as the General Federation of Women’s Clubs Massachusetts director of junior clubs 2021-22.
A member of the GFWC Marlborough Junior Woman’s Club since 1996, Katie is the fourth MJWC member to have held the director position, including Marilyn Perry, Sheila Shea and Diane McCurley.
However, it is without question that Katie was in for a very different experience than the previous directors.
The GFWC MA Junior Membership had its Annual Meeting scheduled for April 25, 2020, at the Holiday Inn in Marlborough with the installation of officers scheduled for the evening. ....
