Pink Tulip Festival and plant sale returns May 24, 2021 on News ELLSWORTH Last year, for the first time in nearly 20 years, the Ellsworth Garden Club did not host its Pink Tulip Festival or plant sale, but this year Club President Monica Moeller has announced a modest and measured return to the festival. “We are already starting to get queries about the sale, and we have a huge backlog of perennials because we had no sale last year so working within Maine CDC guidelines, we are going to host a substantial plant sale on June 5 at Donald Little Park.” Any changes in guidelines for that time period will be reviewed regularly, but as currently planned, COVID precautions will include required masking for all workers and the public as well as measures to facilitate social distancing and discourage people from congregating in groups. ....
