now, we are standing by to here about two hikers held in iran. and then you will hear from the men who sin tau grated the marines. hello, i am t. j. holmes, and thank you for spending part of your sunday with us. this is what we re keeping an eye on today in the debt debate. 1:00 eastern time, that is when a vote is scheduled in the senate on majority leader harry reid s plan. that was the vote that was supposed to take place overnight but it was delayed late into the evening. listen to the senate majority leader. i have spoken to the white house quite a few times this evening and asked me to give everybody as much time as possible to see if a deal can be reached. the only way that can be done is with the president of the united states. and we re going to continue to work on that, and get this problem solved and let everybody in the country know we will not default for the first time in history, and that s how i am going to spend that time until we get that out ....

what could be the largest municipal bankruptcy in u.s. history. good morning to you all. thank you for spending part of your weekend with us. i m t.j. holmes. we do need to start with a debate that was supposed to be over already. we are less than three days from a possible u.s. default. this clock is still ticking and a deal is not done. we are expecting a lot of action on capitol hill today. both houses in session, but whether there s going to be any real progress, that s anybody s guess. this is what we ve got going on today. the house starts debate at noon with the likely vote on a democratic proposal expected some time after 1:00 p.m. not expected to pass, however. then over on the senate side, they kick off debate on the democratic proposal around 1:00 eastern time. they could be debating that for up to 12 hours before they even vote on whether to vote. kind of a procedural vote would take place, possibly around 1:00 a.m. we did hear from president obama this mo ....

thank you for being with us today. let s start with the story that seems to have come to some kind of an end. this is casey anthony leaving jail 12 days after being found not guilty of killing her 2-year-old daughter. she walked out the front door, which was a surprise to many. anthony was found guilty of lying to police, and that got her a four year-sentence, and you factor in time served and good behavior, and she s out. this comes three years and a day after she was first arrested on the disappearance of her daughter. david mattingly joins us. this was a surprise to many that she walked out the front door. reporter: that s right. there are a number of scenarios in mind, and they had several contingency plans at the jail depending what was going on at the time. as she walked out there were hundreds, very focal, and many holding signs, and it was an emotional time, and they allowed her to walk outside to a waiting suv, and from there they went straight out on to the ....
