Victoria Virus Case Friend of Hotel Quarantine Worker
MELBOURNE, Australia Victoria has recorded one new local case of COVID-19, while Chief Health Officer Brett Sutton says there is no plan, yet, to extend the five-day lockdown.

Disturbing legal detail means Melbourne, Victoria snap lockdown could last for TWO WEEKS

The brutal five day long lockdown of the entire state of Victoria could continue for up to two weeks thanks to a sneaky detail in health directive legal papers.

The entire state was plunged into lockdown from 11.59pm on Friday in response to an outbreak at Melbourne Airport s Holiday Inn, which has grown to 14 cases.  ....

On Wednesday, Victorian authorities said it was believed a small number of hotel quarantine workers and former guests who were staying on the same floor breathed in aerosolised particles of the virus created by the use of the nebuliser on 3 and 4 February. There is no suggestion the man knew he was not allowed to use the machine, which is required to deliver medication. ....
