Coates Recipient of Track POW Honor Oskaloosa–Jackson Coates (So., Aldie, Va., Engineering Technology) tallied a pair of event victories last week, and for that he was named Heart of America Athletic Conference Men’s Track Athlete of the Week Monday. The award is Coates’ first and comes after he won two event titles at the Grand View Classic last Friday. The sophomore, who entered into three competitions, tallied wins in the long jump (22-11.25) and the triple jump (44-10.75). He also managed to place fifth in the 200-meter dash in 22.77 seconds.
