Facing housing shortage, Midcoast towns promote 'mother-in-law suites'
Bath and Brunswick have both held public information sessions promoting accessory dwelling units, commonly known as "granny flats" or "mother-in-law suites," this fall, as communities around the state combat a housing shortage.
