The lawyer for Cory Jamar Bigsby Sr., the father of missing Hampton 4-year-old Codi Bigsby, and his family have filed notice of an intent to sue against Hampton City officials that accuses them of jury tampering and obstruction of justice.
Monday marks 13 weeks since Codi Bigsby’s father reported the four-year-old boy missing from the Buckroe Beach area in Hampton. Now, the family of Keir and her infant daughter Chloe Johnson, who police say vanished from the same area five years ago, fear the worst in both cases.
The letter states that this incident happened after comments Chief Talbot had made in a media conference on February 25.
Cory Bigsby and his attorney have filed a cease and desist against Hampton officials Saturday.
News 3 obtained court documents in Hampton JDR court Tuesday confirming that Amina Matheny-Willard will now be representing Cory. She has filed a motion for discovery and exculpatory evidence.
