MARION — The Marion City Council approved an extension of the maximum maturity of STAR Bonds from 23 to 35 years at Tuesday’s meeting.
Doug Deaton, owner of 618 Tap House, claimed city leaders were discriminating against his business at Monday’s city council meeting.
City officials and other staff members in Marion are now working in the new city hall building at 350 Tower Square Plaza, just around the square from their old building.
